If you live in the Baltimore area, you may already be familiar with local B Corp HEX Ferments. They are “food alchemists, dedicated to sourcing from local and organic farmers using regenerative farming practices. [They] believe in creating partnerships with these providers of sustenance to create unique ferments that support our individual health as well as the health of our local foodshed.” HEX creates delicious kombuchas, krauts, kimchis, and pickles all while using 100% renewable energy. In 2023, HEX will be opening a tasting room and marketplace in the Govans neighborhood of Baltimore City called HEX Superette.
